KIS-SUPERFOOD LAB
As we described on “superfood – natural immune and power”, many, many people suffer from a weakened immune system after Covid/the vaccinations. We are also affected.
Unfortunately we can’t change the fact, we are neither doctors nor biologists. But what we can do is do something about the immune deficiency.
In 2023 we were very fortunate to be working with one of the largest biscuit manufacturers on the Indian subcontinent with more than 11,000 employees and in this context we were also involved in the development of an immune-boosting biscuit product. A very exciting work, using the world-famous and patented “Nano-Cucumin” from Dr. Leroy.
This work inspired us so much that we continue to work intensively on this topic.
Backround
With a very good friend and chef with a Michelin star, we discussed and tried many ways to find out which products were helpful and how they could be made available to the body in an appetizing and highly effective way. I am very happy to admit that the creations of our Michelin magician are simply stunningly delicate, but for us as developers and pragmatists, they seem too special and complex to provide a simple and, above all, daily supply of the body with these superfoods, available to everyone to make it feasible.
We needed a simple approach. The idea was that these immune bombs could be consumed casually like fast food or snacks. And as delicious as possible.
Statistically, most people love the taste “sweet”! So we had four criteria (super healthy, snack, sweet, delicious) that we could work with. To these we added the criteria “available to everyone”, “natural raw materials”, “as efficient as possible”, “no chemicals” and “as simple as possible” and the task was complete.
We immediately went to work and first studied all the known “superfoods”. From the surprising variety of these foods, we have limited ourselves to the following foods to start with (and described in detail on our immune boost page):
1. Turmeric (combined with black pepper that increases the potency of curcumin up to 2000 times)
2. Ginger
3. Chia seeds
5. Cinnamon
6. Star anise
7. Coconut
8. Cocoa
9. Honey and fermented honey
10. Cloves
11. Coriander
and for the fruity notes:
12. Mangoes
13. sour tamarind
We also use natural foods such as brown rice/rice flour, milk powder, coconut milk, soy milk to support the product.
We use all of these raw materials to make immune bombs that can support your body far more than any artificial sublements.
And all this without a guilty conscience and the good feeling that you are doing the right thing!
Our products
We are creative and innovative problem solvers, not salespeople.
First and foremost, we create solutions to problems and test them.
Others will then take over the final production for the market and marketing.
The problem with immune deficiency affects us personally, so this project is a matter close to our hearts.
What we’re doing here is intended to help all of us deal with the crap that others have apparently made up (for whatever reason). For this reason, costs also play a role. We don’t want a solution that only a few can afford.
These products should be accessible to everyone.
In this sense, even the cheapest versions are completely sufficient, as are the products that we eat ourselves. However, since there is always a superlative, we also have these on offer.
But now to the products:
Honey turmeric chocolates
Our main product is based on the superfood turmeric.
Since curcumin in its natural state can only be used moderately by the body, we have combined it with black pepper, which, thanks to its ingredients, increases the absorbability of the natural curcumin up to 2000 times. This gives us the necessary power to effectively support your and our immune system. We added chia seeds to support it and then rounded it off with highly efficient cinnamon and star anise.
In terms of taste, we currently have two versions ready. Soft coconut with white chocolate as well as the even more effective chocolate variant thanks to the addition of cocoa, which is highly effective for health. Both are not only top-class immune boosters, but also extremely tasty. When I produce for my family and friends, I have to be very careful about getting some myself!
Both versions are free of any refined sugars, apart from a very small amount of sugar in the previously purchased chocolate icing. For sweetening, we only use the superfood honey in order to get its active ingredients into our products.
In the upgrade version of our chocolates, we use fermented honey together with turmeric, ginger, chia seeds and immune-active spices to get even more health-promoting ingredients into our chocolates.
We are not doctors and cannot give you any advice on what to eat and in what quantity.
These days it is so easy to get the information you need online and make your own informed decision.
What we create here is for us and we are happy to share it with you and the world.
Some voices say that you shouldn’t necessarily consume more than 3 grams of turmeric per day. Others have no problems with this and speak of much larger quantities that can be eaten safely.
For us, we think it makes sense to consume an amount of 0.5 to a maximum of 3 grams per day. The key point that determines the effect on the body is regularity. It’s better to do a little less per day, but every day. And in combination with other effective foods. This way we reach our goal just as effectively and accurately support our immune system.
One 20gr Praline has round about 0.3gr boosted tumaric, so that u can eat up to 12 pieces a day without any problems or scratch any lines.
There really isn’t anything more!
In the public test phase in Cambodia and Thailand, primarily among acquaintances, fitness studios as well as with doctor friends and their networks, we form our immune boosters as balls. Later it is quite possible that we create a bar, like with the protein bar.
The response from the public tests will show it.
Ok, let us talk about nutritions!
What counts first and foremost is the immune booster effect. But of course we also want to know what we are consuming
